Recuperation

Contributing up to 30% of the vehicle's range, the recuperating technology in the e-tron uses three different modes; manual with paddle shifters, coasting and automatic. The integrated brake control system makes it possible in most cases to decelerate exclusively through recuperation, without losing any energy due to friction braking.
